Codes and Conventions of the Documentary Genre
Before considering what to film my documentary on I wanted to be clear on what the codes and conventions of the documentary genre were. Some of the codes and conventions in which I discovered were quite obvious to me e.g. interviews, but others were much more of a surprise e.g. dramatization.
